■About smell
Deep inside the pores (hair follicles) are sebaceous glands that produce sebum and sweat glands (apocrine glands) that produce sweat. Sweat produced by the sweat glands is odorless, but when it mixes with sebum and is broken down by bacteria that live on the skin, it produces an odor.
